Why We Built PSC Together
Joe Grant helped introduce Aaron Forte to the septic industry in the late 1990s. Years later, Aaron came back to Joe with a different idea: what if their combined field experience could be used not simply to perform septic work, but to help homeowners understand it?
Their shared concern for homeowner knowledge, transparency, and informed decision-making became part of the foundation for Premier Septic Consultants.
Meet the Founders
AARON FORTE
President & Co-Founder
Aaron Forte was born in Newark, New Jersey, and raised in the Dade City and Lacoochee area of Florida. He has called Lakeland home since the age of 17.
His path started in an unexpected place: nursing. In 1998, Aaron entered CNA and nursing training and discovered something that would shape the rest of his career — a strong pull toward helping people navigate decisions they did not fully understand. That instinct never left him.
That same year, his cousin Joe Grant introduced him to septic work while Joe was working at Averett Septic Tank. Aaron learned the trade from the ground up — literally. He started as a ground man, worked his way to lead installer, and later became a foreman.
Along the way, he gained hands-on experience with traditional gravity systems, rock-and-pipe systems, aerobic treatment units, lift stations, mound systems, repairs, pumping, excavation, permitting, plan reading, site preparation, and equipment operation, including skid steers, excavators, pump trucks, and loaders.
It was not classroom-only knowledge. It was dirt-under-the-fingernails knowledge earned in the field.
Over the years, Aaron saw the same problem repeat itself: homeowners often did not understand their own septic systems and were left trying to make expensive decisions with limited information.
That experience became one of the reasons he helped build Premier Septic Consultants.
PSC was created to give homeowners something Aaron believes they deserve before making a major septic decision: clear information, honest guidance, professional respect, and the opportunity to understand what they are being told before they spend their money.
No pressure. No games.
Every homeowner deserves the same effort, professionalism, respect, and education — whether or not it ever puts a dollar in PSC’s pocket.
Aaron also wants PSC to become a company its people are proud to work for and a company that never forgets a simple principle:

JOE GRANT
Vice President & Co-Founder
Joe Grant has more than 10 years of hands-on experience in the septic industry. He began his career at Averett Septic in concrete septic tank manufacturing, advancing to Manufacturing Supervisor before transitioning into groundsman work and system installation. Within about two years he earned his Class A CDL and progressed to Operator Supervisor. He spent roughly three years focused on septic repairs before moving into new septic installations.
Joe’s background spans manufacturing, repairs, installations, equipment operation, supervision, consulting, and field operations. He has a natural problem-solving, helper mindset, and shares Aaron’s concern that homeowners should understand exactly what they’re being sold and what they’re being told. To Joe, every customer concern deserves to be taken seriously — a principle he sums up simply:
“Your septic concerns become our priorities.”
Our Vision
Aaron’s long-term vision includes exposing younger people to septic and on-site wastewater knowledge, skilled trades, and career paths — eventually through trade-school and high-school partnerships.
Joe’s vision is for PSC to become a leading source of septic knowledge for homeowners, buyers, real estate professionals, builders, and future septic contractors, working constructively with other industry professionals to raise knowledge and standards across the field.
