Effective Date: August 17, 2026 | Version 1.0
This Legal Terms & Service Agreement governs services provided by Premier Septic Consultants. Before submitting a service request, scheduling, or purchasing a PSC service, customers must review and affirmatively accept this Agreement through the applicable PSC intake, booking, or service process.
1. What Premier Septic Consultants Does
Premier Septic Consultants currently provides:
- Educational and informational guidance about septic systems, decisions, and processes
- Document review, including review of contractor estimates, proposals, and quotes
- Records research, including locating and interpreting permits, inspection history, and county files related to a property
- Estimate review, meaning an independent read of a contractor’s written estimate, diagnosis, and supporting documentation
- Homeowner decision-support, helping you understand your options and the questions you should be asking before you commit to a decision
- Properly limited owner-side documentation and observation services, meaning we may attend or observe work on your behalf as your representative, within the boundaries described in Section 2 below
- PSC helps customers understand the information available, identify unanswered questions, and make more informed septic decisions.
PSC does not replace appropriately licensed contractors, engineers, plumbers, inspectors, or regulatory authorities when those professionals are legally required.
2. What Premier Septic Consultants Does Not Do
Premier Septic Consultants does not currently offer, and does not represent that it offers, any of the following:
- Regulated septic contracting, including installation, repair, pumping, or regulated maintenance of septic systems
- Engineering services or engineering advice
- Regulated site or soil evaluation
- Compliance inspection or code-compliance certification
- Permit approval or any action that requires the authority of a permitting agency
- Legal advice
- Any other activity that requires a professional or contractor license under Florida law, unless and until PSC holds that license and discloses it to you in writing
Nothing on this website, in any PSC communication, proposal, report, or deliverable, or from any PSC representative, should be read as a claim that PSC can lawfully perform work outside the scope described in Section 1.
3. Nature of Estimate Review Services
If you engage PSC for an Estimate Review, PSC will review the documentation you provide — which may include a written estimate or proposal, stated diagnosis, photographs or videos, septic permits and records, previous reports or invoices, the proposed repair or replacement scope, and any exclusions or warranty language — and provide a written summary covering what was proposed, what documentation supports it, what information is missing or unclear, questions you should ask, matters that need further verification, relevant records or permit observations, situations that require a licensed professional, and practical next-step guidance within PSC’s lawful scope.
PSC’s Estimate Review is not a septic inspection, engineering determination, repair diagnosis, code-compliance certification, or guarantee that another contractor is correct or incorrect. PSC’s conclusions are based on the documentation and information you provide and on PSC’s review of that material. PSC does not perform independent on-site testing, excavation, soil analysis, or physical inspection of your septic system as part of an Estimate Review unless a separate on-site consultation is specifically purchased and scoped in writing.
4. No Guarantee of Outcome
PSC provides its professional read of the information available at the time of review. PSC does not guarantee that a septic system will perform in a particular way, that a contractor’s diagnosis or pricing is accurate or inaccurate, that a transaction will close, that a permit will issue, or that any other outcome will occur. Septic systems, soil conditions, and regulatory determinations involve variables that cannot be fully assessed from documentation alone.
5. Your Responsibility to Use Licensed Professionals
You remain responsible for engaging appropriately licensed contractors, engineers, plumbers, inspectors, or other professionals for any work or determination that legally requires a license. If PSC identifies a matter that appears to require a licensed professional, PSC will say so, but PSC is not responsible for your decision to proceed, delay, or decline to engage such a professional.
6. Accuracy of Information You Provide
PSC’s work product depends on the accuracy and completeness of the documents, photographs, records, and information you provide. PSC is not responsible for conclusions that are incomplete or inaccurate because the underlying information you supplied was incomplete, inaccurate, or withheld.
7. Fees, Scope, and Written Confirmation
Pricing for each service is confirmed with you before work begins. Every paid engagement is governed by this Agreement, which is incorporated by reference into any proposal, invoice, or service confirmation PSC provides. Where a separate written proposal or engagement document exists, that document and this Agreement should be read together; if there is a direct conflict between the two on a scope-of-service question, this Agreement controls on matters of scope and limitation.
8. Electronic Acceptance
Where PSC’s intake, booking, or engagement process includes an acceptance checkbox, your affirmative check of that box — together with the version and date of this Agreement displayed at that time — constitutes your acceptance of these terms for that engagement. PSC records the version and date of the terms you accepted.
9. Confidentiality of Materials You Submit
Photographs, videos, documents, and records you submit to PSC are used for PSC’s review of your matter. Submitting materials to PSC is not permission for PSC to use them publicly — including in marketing, social media, or educational content. Any public use of materials you submit requires your separate, explicit consent. See PSC’s Privacy Policy for how PSC handles personal information generally.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, PSC’s liability for any claim arising from its services is limited to the amount you paid PSC for the specific service giving rise to the claim. PSC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including costs related to septic repairs, replacements, real estate transactions, or decisions made based on PSC’s review.
11. One Governing Standard
This is PSC’s single, canonical statement of scope and limitations. No other page, social media profile, chatbot, automated response, service page, contract, downloadable material, or future automated system speaking on PSC’s behalf may expand PSC’s authority or represented scope beyond what is stated here. Where PSC’s scope is described in shortened form elsewhere — on a service page, in a social post, or in a proposal — the meaning must remain identical to what is stated in this Agreement. If you encounter language elsewhere that appears to conflict with this Agreement, this Agreement controls.
12. Changes to This Agreement
PSC may update this Agreement. Updates are dated and versioned at the top of this page. Continued use of PSC’s services after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms for any new engagement.
